Coming off a recent report that the e-commerce market in Latin America is expected to reach $70 billion in 2020, Silicon Valley enterprise Adobe has partnered with regional development firm Talos Digital.

Talos Digital becomes one of a dozen organizations in Latin America to earn the designation from Adobe Magento of Certified Business Solution Partner.

Adobe, the American multinational headquartered in Silicon Valley, has historically focused on multimedia and creativity software products, with a more recent foray into digital marketing software. The company was founded in 1982 and today has over 21,000 employees worldwide.

Well regarded for Flash, in May 2018 it was announced that Magento would be acquired by Adobe for $1.68 billion with the aim of integrating the platform into Adobe Experience Cloud, its Enterprise CMS platform.

Talos, the Latin American multinational, believes Adobe Magento will continue to be a leading platform in the region, with the platform’s code having been downloaded over 2.5M times worldwide.

Said the organization’s CIO Ignacio Pascual, “Talos is ready to help clients evolve to a next generation data-driven platform that empowers omnichannel exponential growth.”

Talos Digital has multiple offices in Latin America and North America and oversees development from industries such as insurance to finance.
